ING Direct - 4.15% APY + $25

I wrote an entry about HSBC's current APY a couple days ago because HSBC Direct offers the highest rate. However, it appears that there is no active promo code for HSBC. Therefore, it might just be more practical to sign up for ING, if you don't already have an account. ING Direct just increased their standard rate from 4.00% to 4.15%. Add an additional $25 sign up bonus, and you've got a great deal.

To get the $25 sign up bonus, you need someone to refer you. So, if you're interested in opening a new account, just click here: Open! (If that link doesn't work, leave a comment.)

Hi JB,

In response to your question - yes, just email referrals to yourself and post the referral links for your readers to use.

Hope that helps!

dottore,

HSBC Direct, Emigrant Direct, and Citibank's eSavings all offer 4.5% APY. And, although ING only offers 4.15%, the $25 sign-up bonus can make up for the percentage difference if you're not depositing very large amounts of money.
Alternatively, if you really want to make the most money, sign up for ING to get the sign up bonus and then transfer your money to HSBC, Emigrant, or Citibank. ING also offers $10 for each person you refer that signs up, in addition to the $25 that the new customer receives.

:)
